Resources for involving people and communities

Sharing best practice in engagement

The Get Involved section of NHS England’s website is a source of information, good practice, learning and information for anyone looking to involve people and communities in their work. The ‘opportunities’ section is a good place to promote ways for people to get involved, and you can also list opportunities to get involved in the monthly ‘InTouch’ bulletin.

The Engagement Practitioners Network is overseen by NHS England’s Public Participation Team and has over 1,000 members. They benefit from:

  • a Future NHS workspace
  • events and webinars
  • a monthly e-bulletin
  • peer sharing of resources

This is a network for all those working in engagement to connect, share resources, explore examples of best practice and participate in wider discussion.
