Jackie Gray - Executive Director of Information Governance at NHS Digital

Jackie Gray is a practising solicitor and Executive Director of Information Governance at NHS Digital, having joined the organisation in January 2019 from Womble Bond Dickinson LLP where she was a Partner. Jackie worked in private practice for over 15 years specialising in information law, public law and public private partnership projects, advising across the health, central government, local government and educations sectors.

Jackie is a member of the Executive Management Team at NHS Digital and leads the information governance function, which provides IG advice and support on the design, development and operation of national healthcare IT systems and the collection, analysis, publication and dissemination of national health and social care datasets.  

Jackie is the Deputy Chair of the Health and Care Information Governance Panel and has been leading work on the development of Article 40 Codes of Conduct for the health and social care sector with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
